Day 1 - Arrival in Bucharest
Welcome to Bucharest, Romania! Once you arrive, we will pick you up from the Otopeni International Airport. On the way to your hotel, you will take a sightseeing tour and you will find out why the beautiful Romanian capital is called by many the ”Little Paris”.
We will then go to the hotel to check-in, and we will have free time for lunch.
After lunchtime, we will visit the Village Museum where you will discover the powerful contrasting shades of a society equally represented by modernity and tradition.
In the afternoon we’ll take a stroll through the charming historical center * (the old town) and pause for a well-deserved coffee break in Bucharest’s famous age-old inn: Hanul lui Manuc (Manuc’s Inn) whose poetic atmosphere will take you back two hundred years.
In the afternoon we’ll take a stroll through the streets of Bucharest Old Town and you’ll get to see some of the beautiful buildings in the city such as the Romanian Athenaeum, located in the city centre, the Stavropoleos Church, or some of Bucharest’s boutique hotels.We will then pause for a coffee break at Bucharest’s famous age-old inn, Hanul lui Manuc. We’ll end the day with an activity of your choice (shopping, going to an event, taking a walk), and in the evening we will head to Caru cu Bere, where we’ll enjoy a folk show and a delicious dinner. Over the years, Caru cu Bere hosted numerous worldwide famous people, such as The Rolling Stones, Demi Moore, and Ted Kennedy.

Day 2 - Bucharest city tour
Breakfast
In the first day of the Bucharest city break, we will visit the Palace of Parliament, the colossal construction built in the communist days in the virtue of the principle that reasonable size does not exist. It is the most expensive administrative edifice in the world and its maintenance costs are higher than those of a small city. The enormous building is structured on 9 surface levels and 9 underground levels, and it is divided into 21 sections containing approximately 1,000 rooms.
Fun fact: The Palace of the Parliament is so gigantic that it sinks by 6 mm each year due to its weight.
After lunchtime, we will visit the ”Dimitrie Gusti” National Village Museum, an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herestrau Park. The national museum presents numerous permanent exhibitions, such as a contemporary folk art gallery and a heritage collection of historical items from the history of Romania. Besides the permanent exhibitions, the museum also organizes numerous temporary exhibitions in partnership with prestigious museums and cultural institutions from throughout the country.
Your city tour of Bucharest will also include a panoramic tour (sightseeing tour) of some of the city’s touristic attractions and boulevards. These include Arcul de Triumf, the Revolution Square, Calea Victoriei, and more.

Day 3 - Dracula day trip
Breakfast
First stop will be at Sinaia, a picturesque mountainous region not far from the capital where we will visit Peleş Castle, the formal summer residence for the Romanian royal family and the meeting venue for the some of the most important foreign delegations. Peleș Castle is truly a royal palace that delights the eye, revealing to be an architectural gem in a mosaic of styles: Renaissance, Gothic, Baroque, etc.
Later on, we will visit Sinaia Monastery, a seventeenth-century monument called the “Cathedral of the Carpathians” and one of the most beautiful orthodox churches. Here you have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the Eastern-Orthodox worship. After the Royal Palace, we will the famous Transylvanian castle and perhaps one of the most famous castles in the world, Bran Castle (also known as Dracula’s Castle). Built starting with 1211 under the architectural guidance of Johaness Schultz and Karel Lima, Bran Castle or Dracula Castle was finalized in 1377.
We continue with Brasov, a popular destination in Romania among the tourists. The city was founded by the Teutonic Knights in 1211 and it exudes a distinct medieval ambiance. Walking through the Council Square, we will reach the Old Town Hall situated right in the center, and afterward, we will visit the Black Church, the biggest religious building of its kind between Vienna and Istanbul.
At the end of the day, we will return to your hotel in Bucharest.

Day 4 Bucharest - Departure
In the 4th day, you will have breakfast at your hotel in Bucharest, and you will be transferred to the Bucharest Airport according to your flight schedule.
